Crazy Sadie
Crazy Sadie Lived a good life. She was the Alfa dog, hard headed and stubborn as an OX. She came as a puppie wandering the streets and chose us to be her family. Sleeping in the stuffed leaf pumpkins she was most determined to survive. Many a time she ran away and eventually we learned it was a game. Many times we locked the gate and said tough girl survive on your own only to find her sitting on the front porch. When we moved to the country we just knew you would run away, but nope One trip across the field into the cactus and you knew where safety was. Never again for the next four years did we worry where you were. Mommy didn't even disown you when you killed her precious baby ducks. Granted they were in your territory but still you shouldn't have done it. Even though we wondered if you would make it through the heat or cold for the last few years you were tougher than tough and you percivered. We often joked you would out live us all by mere determination. You loved to eat bees and swell up like Houch. You were never a dull moment. You even managed to have a great time with all the granddogs Thanksgiving before you suddenly went down hill. Maybe you knew you couldn't handle the weather to come or maybe you wanted your best friend Alisa with you, we won't ever know. But with all of us with you, we said good bye and Keaton burried you in the field so you will always be close by. You lived a good life crazy Sadie. We loved you in spite of it all.
